Shishi (獅子) [Ghetto Hyakki Yagyo Series]

In new years eve, the lion dance “shishimai” is performed at festivals in Japan. Shishi is a lion costume that was abandoned by monks when they felt an evil presence in their shrine. The costume was then invaded by evil spirits and now it lurks the shrine and wanders the surrounding forests in search for souls of lost travelers to eat.
